Taste
Rice
- South: Fat and moist, it is encompasses flavours in it
- Lawn: Although it has its flavour, you can taste the “hardness” in the center.
- North: Moist but lack of flavour in the rice
- South: They give a generous amount of chicken and it is moist
- Lawn: Dry and lacks flavour. However, it could be that we were given a chicken wing which is usually quite dry
- North: Not enough taste but relatively soft and tender
Look
- South: Rice is evenly coated with their sauce and looks appetizing with the layer of chicken on top. Chicken has a nice shade of creamy white which suggest it is juicy and tender
- Lawn: The rice looks like plain rice and does not give off the feeling that it will taste delicious
- North: Looks can be deceiving for this fella, when we first saw the rice, we thought it was not going to be delicious however after eating it, it has nice aroma which will melt in your mouth
Price
- South: $2.50 (Does not include extra charge when takeaway)
- Lawn: $2.80 (Currently have $2 promotion for November)
- North: $2.50 (Does not include extra charge when takeaway)
What cannot be omitted when talking about chicken rice is the accompanying chilli.
- South: The chilli is sweet, spicy and tangy. To be honest, it taste good to be eaten by its own!!
- Lawn: The chilli is very strong and spicy. Garlic taste is very overwhelming
- North: The chilli for this is extra spicy and the garlic taste is equally overwhelming. We thought it was the same chilli from Lawn
After going through this crazy mayhem, we chose….
